Weekend Wrap Up

Saturday morning I woke up bright and early at 4:30 am, grabbed my crap and hit the road with Mark. It was a nice little ride down to platteville! We show up for the Time trial race ready to hit some trail... scratch that.. i mean, ready to hit the hills. It seemed like the race was always climbing. I dont know how its possibe to start at the top of a hill and keep climbing the entire race! It was still fun and I beat Mark by about 2.5 minutes. And yup, Thats a brag..

After watching some of the 2 lap race and watching "The Trek Dude" hill climb in the big chainring with un-human like abilities we headed over to Blue Mounds State park for some casual riding. Our casual ride turned out to be more of a skill tester with its rock pile creek crossings, and log and other rocks jetting out of the ground everywhere! Is sounded like this with me call out obstacles, "Rock! Log! Rock Bridge! Log Obstacle! Rock! Rockstacle!" it was greuling. I need to get down there this year once the trial have been tamed and dried a bit!

Rainy start to this week. Definitly needed! Baird Creek was looking like it usually does in June! Its good to see some green Grass too! Hopefully this week I will be making it down to our team ride On Wed. and the Bike hub Ride on thursday. Maybe a Tour de Lakes ride this weekend.

First blog post

Well here it is... Hopefully i get some pics up soon and something interesting on here... Maybe once i get things figured out. So heres whats up with me...

Today, I killed my first mosquito for the year, its not like i care about killing mosquitos but i was pretty disappointed about it. Mosquitos... already? I dont need that crap until say.. never! Anyway weather is Finally turning nice so i figured we'll be seeing plenty of bugs around soon.

This last week I've been crankin the pedals fairly hard. I think i racked up about 110 miles including last weekend. Some of the super-athletes on my team might laugh at that, but for me, thats some pretty good miles! Which brings me to the team situation. This season I will be flying the proud (and kick ass looking) Titletown Flyers gear. Awesome! Im looking forward to atleast looking like a professional at the Wors Races.

First Race tomorrow! Mark and I will be heading out nice and early (5am) for a little trip to platteville for a time trial race. Hopefully I have a good day, and kick Marks ass!

As for today... DAY OFF of the bike. Its super nice out, but i need some re-coup time from this week. With a sore hip and a sore shoulder from a crash.. thats right i said crash.. I need a bit of time off!
